Wow, it has been a whole year since I last "blogged" anything!! Its been a very interesting year!! But I will stick to camping, since that is the title to this post. After last year - where we camped a total of 3 nights (all of which were kid-free) we decided to go ahead and book a camping vacation! We are almost done our 2 weeks out at Madge lake - and only came in to refuel the groceries, and do some laundry, and of course have a wonderful long hot shower and a fabulous sleep in our own beds! :)
We got to Madge last Sunday - the kids were soooo excited!!!
And I have to say - for the most part, the kids have done amazingly well!! We came home after 3 days because of not so nice weather, and...for the sake of our sanity - because 2 boys in a small camper when its raining...not so pretty! We went back Friday to meet up with our friends, Blake and Jen Patterson, and their 2 kids - for our 4th annual Franka-patta-palooza!! We had a great time with them, and FABULOUS weather!! And thankfully - we ended up with some great camp-neighbours, who have 2 girls (4 and 7) that get along great with out 2 boys!!
We decided to come back tonight - and will head back tomorrow morning for the rest of the week! More to come after that - and of course some great pictures!!
